Ingredients
2 / 3
cups flour
2
tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1
teaspoon baking powder
1 / 4
teaspoons salt
1
1 / 2
cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 / 4
teaspoons unsalted butter
2
large eggs
1 / 4
cups sugar
1 / 2
cups, packed light brown sugar
1 / 2
cups chocolate chips
1
teaspoon vanilla extract
Steps
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F and prepare two baking sheets. In double boiler melt 1 ½ cup chocolate chip and butter until smooth. Remove from heat at cool.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar and vanilla. Using a large mixer with whisk attachment, whisk together on high for 5 minutes. Mix in melted chocolate and whisk for 1 minute.
Step 3
In a medium bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Add onto wet ingredients just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Batter will be runny, but that's all good news! (Check our stories to see the consistency we got)
Step 4
With a spoon, scoop batter into baking sheets about 3 inches apart.
Step 5
Bake for 12-14 minutes until top are shiny and crackly. Let cool for 10 minutes
